It's take a village to rescue a dog, let alone all the dogs. From initial medical evaluation and treatment to sterilization to ongoing food and medical costs, our financial needs are always growing. So, any amount of monetary donation is always appreciated in the form of individual or monthly sponsorship. We also accept donations of food and medication, with preference for Nexgard Spectra medication.

We are also always looking for foster homes, forever homes and volunteers. See below for more details on those opportunities.

Foster

We are always looking for folks who are able to foster dogs in the Lake Atitlan area. We ask for a 1-3 month commitment and all costs will be provided for by us. You just need to bring the love and care.

Adopt

We have way more dogs than we do forever homes. So, we are always looking for good families for the fur babies we rescue from the streets of Lake Atitlan. We adopt in-country and out-of-country. Just check in with us and online about traveling with your newly adopted dog if you plan to leave the lake.

Volunteer

There are a few different ways to volunteer with the dogs if you are local:

At the sterilization clinics.
During the vaccination campaigns.
By delivering food and feeding dogs.
By loving up on and walking dogs.
As a land or flight travel parent where you take the dog to its forever home (we will cover all transportation costs).
